About a month ago our coffee roaster, Ancora Coffee of Madison switched many of their coffees over to Rainforest Alliance Certified coffees.  What does this mean for you, our customer?

The Rainforest Alliance works to conserve biodiversity and ensure sustainable livelihoods by transforming land-use practices, business practices and consumer behavior.  What this means for you and I is that we get to enjoy great coffee that was raised in an environmentally responsible manner by farmers that were given a fair wage for their efforts.  While Rainforest Alliance products are not organic certified, most have been grown without the use of pesticides and other chemicals
